34 | Border Esk | The Border Esk is on the southern border of Scotland where it enters the Solway Firth near Gretna. It is formed by the meeting of the Black Esk and the White Esk near Bailiehill. It commences as a Scottish river, enters England and passes through Longtown and returns as the border at Gretna. |
35 | Tweed | The River Tweed is in the Borders region of southern Scotland. It flows into the North Sea at Berwick-on-Tweed on the east coast, about 50 miles east-south-east of Edinburgh. |

52 | Carron | The Carron flows into the sea halfway between the Kyle of Sutherland and the Dornoch Firth near Bonar Bridge. This 30 miles due north of Inverness. Its source is only 5 miles from Loch Broom on the west coast joining the Alladale River. |
